I created the <strong>Moineau Frame 2.5p<\/strong>\u00a0to meet a simple need: making the perfect small FPV quad for beginners.<\/p>\n<p>On standard 5-inch drones, there is plenty of space. But on a 2.5-inch, every gram counts. This guide presents the frame and explains how to achieve a clean build and get the best performance out of it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>My goal with this frame?<\/strong> To allow beginners to get into the FPV hobby hassle-free! That is why, to simplify the assembly, <strong>I directly provide the TPU parts and all the hardware<\/strong>. The Moineau 2.5p Frame<\/h2>\n<p>I designed this project to fully leverage the mechanical properties of carbon fiber. It features a compact structure that acts as a real shield, perfectly protecting 25\u00d725 AIO boards and your \u00ablite\u00bb format HD VTX units.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The carbon fiber plates:<\/strong> I chose T700 carbon fiber, with a 2mm top plate and a 3mm bottom plate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 30px 0; overflow: hidden; background: #c6e5f3; padding: 15px; border-radius: 8px; border: 1px solid #eee;\">\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float: right; max-width: 400px; margin-left: 20px; border-radius: 6px;\" src=\"http:\/\/alouette-fpv.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/DSC_0236-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"contenu du colis\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"margin-top: 0;\">Ready to assemble<\/h3>\n<p>The kit is delivered complete to save you from any sourcing hassle. You receive the carbon fiber plates as well as all the spacers and screws necessary for assembling your stack and your motors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I directly provide TPU parts customized according to your needs\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The original hardware kit includes steel screws with aluminum spacers, and nylon screws and nuts for the stack<\/p>\n<p>For the most meticulous, using titanium screws can save about 5% of the total weight. Note that titanium is more fragile and more expensive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>2. Electronics, Motors, and Propellers.<\/h2>\n<p>The golden rule for this build: you need light and sturdy parts! Batteries and TPU<\/h2>\n<h3>4.1 The BT3 Mod<\/h3>\n<p>I recommend the \u00abBT3\u00bb mod on your LiPos (e.g., GNB 2S 380mAh). It is lighter and you no longer have a balance lead dangling during flight.<\/p>\n<h3>4.2 3D Printing<\/h3>\n<p>The Moineau is compatible with all KayouMini TPU camera mounts.
